Strictly Perimeter
Strictly Perimeter has been together for a couple of rounds of intramurals and they are enjoying their success. They all belong to the same fraternity and demonstrate their “brotherly” love by commenting that, “Morse shoots too much.” They aren’t afraid of hard work, however—their team quote is, “Leave it on the floor.” We congratulate them on being our choice for the Champion Team of the Week—enjoy the hoodies guys!
BOOZEHOUNDS
The Boozehounds are a lot more serious about hoops than their name implies—they have three intramural basketball championships! They have been together for three years, so they experienced success from the very beginning. They also want to clarify that their name refers to Powerade, not the more typical definition of booze. Their personal team quote is, ”Do Work“ …and we think they have been doing good work on the court. Congratulations!
GARDEN STATE BRAWLERS
These guys may be away from their home state but they still honor it in their name–Garden State Brawlers. They have been together for over a year and when they started the team, all the players were from New Jersey, ”where we ball hard!“. Their teamwork and sportsmanship earned them the Team of the Week honors. Check them out in their new hoodies; according to them, ”We’re all single…ladies?!
IRISH BOMBSHELLS
The Irish Bombshells are a happy–go–lucky group that is this week’s Team of the Week. They have only been together for a short month but have found many commonalities—they are all Irish and love to celebrate St. Patty’s Day! They also arent afraid of a challenge—they say that they play hard to get free stuff. Well, we hope they enjoy their hoodies because they earned them!
BRAVEHEARTS
The Bravehearts are a new mix of an old intramural team, Braveheart. They have only been together for a couple of weeks but have already met with success as the Champion Team of the Week. They have a lot of enthusiasm and feel the more, the merrier—their team motto is ”If you cant beat us, join us!“ On their off days, they can be found listening to the musical stylings of Ron Burgundy on the jazz flute—Anchorman is their inspiration!
ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A REBOUND
Always Looking for a Rebound could have been picked for Team of the Week for their sense of humor alone. With team quotes like, “Uh, I need a sub,” and “Time out at 12, 8, and 6” they show they can compete without taking themselves too seriously. They don’t reserve all their talents just for the hardwood, however. They were also Flag Football Champs. All of this success and they have only been together for a year!
