The Ligers
Who doesn’t crack a smile when they hear the word Liger?! Because isn’t it pretty much your favorite animal? Well, it may not be the favorite for opponents of this formidable team. This team, together only 2 years, lives by their motto of, “Play Hard!" The Ligers are the women’s campus champion, they finished 2nd in their Regional Tournament and showed great sportsmanship during it all. They will be traveling to Ohio State this weekend to participate in the NIRSA National Championships as well. LUCK-YYYY!

Farmhouse
Farmhouse is our Champion Team of the Week because they showed great sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the season. They also proved to be one of the better teams as they went on to finish runner-up in our all campus championship game. And they should have good teamwork because not only are they all brothers-fraternity, that is—but two of them are actual brothers. I’m sure that was fun during initiation…Anyway, this group has been together for 3 years and their motto is “Go Big or Go Home!” Well, these guys went home alright, but not until they had their Champion hoodies!

J & M ALL–STARS
Congratulations to the J & M All–Stars! With a team motto of ”Play Hard, Play Like Champions!“ how could they not be the Champion Team of the Week?! They were picked because they are very good sports and are one of Mizzou’s best co–rec league teams as well. Their name came from their two bosses’ initials (Jeff and Matt). They have only been a team for 4 weeks, but that was long enough to prove themselves on the court.

HOPEFULLY 2–2
Hopefully 2–2 hasn’t been together very long—just three weeks, but they certainly have team spirit. They were chosen because they have a lot of fun when they play and they have great sportsmanship each time out on the court, win or lose. Their goal is to make the playoffs, but even if they don’t, theyre still winners as the Champion Team of the Week. Next time you catch them in action, see if you can see them sinking shots ”like sauce on a chicken.“

XPLOSION
This team of roommates have been together for just this year, but showed enough teamwork and sportsmanship to be named Team of the Week. They say that they “xplode” on the court so you better watch out…especially when they yell “Hit it from the red line!”

2ND COMING
2nd Coming is truly a team to be inspired by…or intimidated. Every single member on the team can dunk! These Missouri Tigers are not to be taken lightly. They have been together for 2 years. You can understand their drive and passion for the game when you hear their motto, “Fry or get fried!”
